Building Safety

  • We have 24 hour surveillance cameras around our property as well as in each classroom. These are recorded and monitored.
  • All external doors lock automatically. To enter the building, visitors must be buzzed in through the front door.
  • Only biological parents will have automatic access to their children. If you would like for additional people to pick up your child, their names must be added to the Registration Card. They will need to show a state-issued, photo ID to pick up your child.
  • We LOVE parents on our campus. For safety reasons, we do NOT allow anyone to free roam in our building unless they’re on staff.

Pick Up & Drop Off

We always strive to ensure that pick up and drop off is a smooth process. In order to keep this smooth, we ask that you please-

  • Use both of the lanes of the round about drive-way.
  • Please deliver and wait for your child to be exchanged in the front foyer.
  • If you would like to walk your child into the front lobby or pick up inside, please park in one of the side parking spots along the fence on the right hand side as pictured above.
  • Pull all of the way up in the round about. It is important to pull all of the way through the “u” and not stop in front of the door. This allows us to keep the line flowing and to more easily walk your student to his/her car.
  • Continue to follow the car in front of you out of the parking lot, and do not switch lanes to go around a car. Safety is our number one priority. As we walk your precious kids out, it is always safest to be able to anticipate the flow of traffic.
  • Only biological parents will have automatic access to their children. If you would like for additional people to pick up your child, their names must be added to the Registration Card. They will need to show a state-issued, photo ID to pick up your child.

COVID-19

It is no secret that COVID-19 has affected the educational process in America. Throughout this pandemic, Strawberry Fields staff has used their best efforts to provide the best educational and safe atmosphere possible.

  • Door handle/knobs, tabletops, and light switches are sanitized methodically.
  • Toys are cleaned and sanitized frequently.
  • Children wash their hands throughout the day & use sanitizer after coming in from outside play, after using the RR, after art class, ect.
  • The diner is mopped multiple times a day.
  • We have strict diaper-changing procedures in place.
  • We follow all CDC recommendations.

We are trying to strike a happy balance between sanitizing and sanity! We’re pretty crazy over keeping our staff and our children healthy!
